This was our first family trip to Skye and we immediately loved the location of the cottage - close enough to Broadford and beyond for various activities, but very quiet with no through traffic, and ideally located on the waterfront with magnificent views. Lots of garden space with firepit and seating areas, and private parking. The well-stocked kitchen is the focal point of the cottage, alongside a cosy living room, large bathroom, utility room and large bedroom all on the ground floor. Upstairs are two very comfortable bedrooms and a shower room. There are binders with all sorts of information on the cottage's facilities, as well as leaflets for local sights to try out. Lots of useful mod cons throughout, including a digital TV, coffee machine, plenty of plugs/charge points and more. Looking forward to rebooking again - we had a fantastic time here!

Had a 4 day stay in late April at Oystercatchers Holiday Cottage and I can say without a doubt this has been the highlight of my trip with my wife. The cottage is perfect in so many ways. The cottage has so much privacy and outstanding views. There wasn’t a single item that we needed during our stay that wasn’t already available.
Additionally, Fiona was such a great host and truly made me feel special staying at her cottage. Truly, this is a very special cottage. If you are looking for accommodations on Isle of Skye, just book this one.
If I get the chance to visit again, I will be planning my trip around availability of this cottage and I will not consider any other options.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage right on the water. Birds singing, otters fishing, sheep swimming across to the lower garden. Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen diner, cozy sitting room. Bright and cozy. We felt very much at home right away.

Oystercatchers is a very well appointed, warm and inviting cottage. Very much home from home.
It's location is perfect for wildlife watching and central for visiting the three limbs of Skye.
We have just returned from spending a week at Oystercatchers and found it a relaxing place to stay and return to after long days out.
